Marc Kent has been responsible for some of South Africa’s most talked about wines for a few years now. His Boekenhoutskloof operation of the country’s most celebrated wines and his Porcupine Ridge and Wolf Trap range are some of the world’s best value wines. This event will include wines currently in the market and products Marc has chosen to fly in specifically for the event.

Master Sommelier Maurizio Colia is an imposing figure in the Italian wine industry. In addition to his role as cellar master and vineyard manager at Badia a Passignano (home to the cellar for Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico and the much lauded Tignanello and Solaia wines) he also works as a working sommelier at Osteria di Passignano, a Michelin-rated restaurant. Mr Colia will also soon become Italy’s first resident and Italian born Master of Wine – a designation held by less than three hundred people in the world.

Master Sommelier and WSET wine instructor, Maurizio Colia, will lead you through the terroir and culture that defines Tuscany. Tuscany boasts a mix of classic to modern styles. To fully understand Tuscany’s viticultural landscape requires the assistance of a master. There are few that know if better than Maurizio. There will be limited seats available to this master class.
